Terms of use

Last updated 5 October 2026

1. What ShopPilot is

  • ShopPilot is an online tool for shops that sell through chat apps. It keeps a shop's products, stock, orders, customers and money records, and runs an AI assistant that answers the shop's customers and takes orders in the chat apps the shop connects.
  • ShopPilot is run by the ShopPilot team. By creating an account or using ShopPilot you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

  • Give true details when you sign up, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if someone else used your account.
  • The person who creates a shop is its admin. The admin decides who the staff are and what each of them may see, and is responsible for what staff do in the shop.

3. Your shop and your customers

  • You are the seller. Your products, prices, promotions, deliveries, returns, refunds and taxes are yours to decide and to get right, and you must follow the laws that apply to your shop.
  • ShopPilot is not a party to any sale between you and your customer.
  • You must have the right to use what you put into ShopPilot: product photos, texts, your logo and your customers' details.

4. The AI assistant

  • Replies to your customers are written by an AI using your products, prices, stock and the answers you saved. An AI can make mistakes. You are responsible for what is sent in your shop's name, so check orders the assistant takes before you confirm them, and correct answers that are wrong.
  • The assistant tells customers it is an AI, and a customer can ask for a person at any time. Do not use it to mislead people.
  • Pilot, the helper inside ShopPilot, is also an AI. Its answers are guidance on using the app, not legal, tax or financial advice.

5. Chat apps

When you connect Facebook Messenger, Instagram, Telegram or WhatsApp, you also have to follow the rules of that chat app. Those companies can change or limit what is possible, and a chat app may stop working with ShopPilot for reasons outside our control.

6. Payments from your customers

  • Your customers pay you directly, by your own bank QR, bank transfer or cash on delivery. The money never passes through ShopPilot and we never hold it.
  • A payment screenshot is only a picture. Check the money in your own bank app before you mark an order as paid. ShopPilot is not responsible for payments that did not arrive.

7. Plans and fees

  • ShopPilot has a Free plan with limits and paid plans. The prices, limits and AI credits of each plan are shown on the Pricing section of our website and in Settings > Your plan.
  • Paid plans are paid in advance, for one month or one year, by KHQR to ShopPilot. A plan starts when we see your payment, usually within a few hours. It does not renew by itself: you pay again when it ends.
  • When a paid plan ends it keeps working for 3 more days, so you have time to pay again. After that the shop goes back to the Free plan limits. Your data is kept.
  • AI credits are counted per month. When a month's credits are used up the assistant stops answering and chats wait for your team. Extra credits you buy are for that month only.
  • Some plans limit the number of orders a month. On the Free plan, when the month's orders are used up no new order can be added until the next month or until the shop moves to a paid plan; orders already made still work. On a paid plan with an order limit, your team can always add orders, and only the assistant stops taking orders by itself.
  • We send emails about the service to the shop's owner: a payment received or not accepted, a plan or a free trial about to end, and limits nearly reached. They are part of the service, not advertising.
  • Fees already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires it or if we close the service before your paid time ends.
  • We may change prices or plans. A change does not affect time you have already paid for, and we tell shops in the app before it applies.

8. What is not allowed

  • Selling things that are illegal where you or your customers are, or that the chat apps forbid.
  • Sending spam, cheating customers, or pretending to be another person or business.
  • Trying to break into ShopPilot, to read another shop's data, to overload the service, or to copy or resell it.
  • We may pause or close a shop that does these things.

9. Your data

What you put into ShopPilot stays yours. You can export products, customers and orders to Excel on plans that include it, and you can ask us to delete your shop.

10. The service

  • We work to keep ShopPilot running and correct, but we do not promise that it is never down or never wrong. Parts of it depend on other companies: the chat apps, the AI provider and our hosting.
  • As far as the law allows, ShopPilot is not responsible for lost sales, lost profit or other indirect loss, and our total responsibility to a shop is limited to the fees that shop paid in the 3 months before the problem.

11. Ending

You can stop using ShopPilot at any time. We can close an account that breaks these terms, or that has not been used for a long time, after telling the shop's admin by email where we can.

12. Changes and law

  • We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we tell shops in the app about important changes. Using ShopPilot after a change means you accept it.
  • These terms follow the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
